Attend Your Session Before Other Appointments

Attend your sessions with Amethyst Rose Massage LLC prior to attending any of the following appointments: hair, nail, skincare, waxing, spray tanning, and tattoo appointments.

Your practitioner wants you to have a great session without the worry of hair, nails, skincare, and spray tans being messed up, oils possibly irritating freshly waxed skin, or tattoo ink and blood getting on the sheets.

Arrive Bare Faced

Arrive to your session with a clean, bare face. Doing so will avoid smeared makeup on your face and keep it from getting on the sheets.

Take a Warm or Hot Shower Before Your Session

Taking a warm or hot shower before your session can help relax the muscles, quiet the mind, remove body odor, and enhance the benefits of the session. You do not have to shave before your appointment if you do not wish.

Skip Applying Any Products

Avoid wearing fragrances of any kind: perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, essential oils, body sprays, or roll-ons. Fragrances can be an allergy trigger for your practitioner or any clients that may have appointments after you. Also, skip applying any lotion or oil. The oil and lotion the practitioner uses might not mix well with other products applied to your body prior to your appointment.

Don't Eat Right Before Your Session

Do not arrive to your appointment on a full stomach. Let your body digest. If you feel you may get hungry during your session eating something small 1 hour before your appointment should do the trick.

Don't Consume Alcohol or other Intoxicants Before Your Session

Being under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants can alter your ability to accurately respond to pressure and possible discomfort during your session. Give at least 24 hours before your session for the effects of alcohol or other intoxicants to wear off.

Don't Smoke Before Your Session

Tobacco and other smoking-related products can be an allergy trigger. Out of consideration for your practitioner and other clients after you, refrain from smoking anything 1 hour prior to your session. That should allow sufficient time for the odor to lessen or dissipate.

Arrive On Time

To keep the practitioner on schedule for other clients, arrive on time for your appointments. It may take you longer to feel relaxed if you are in a rushed state. Consider the time it will take you to travel, find parking, and relax in the waiting area for a few minutes while sipping on a complimentary cup of tea or water. If this is your first appointment, allow extra time to locate the studio and complete an intake form if you have not already done so online.

Use the Restroom Before Your Session

Always visit the restroom prior to being welcomed into the studio for your session. This way you will benefit from the full allotted time of your appointment.

Remove All Jewelry

Remove necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings, waist beads, anklets and large earrings. Having no jewelry on will allow your practitioner to access all of your muscles without any restrictions. There is a small tray in the studio for you to place these items on.

Place Your Phone on Silent or Do Not Disturb

Amethyst Rose Massage LLC shares the building with other practitioners. We try to have a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Turn your phones to silent or do not disturb prior to entering the building. This will also keep outside distractions from interfering with your session and allow you to enjoy the time you paid for.

No Gum or Candy

Chewing gum or candy during your session can be a choking hazard. It may also cause you to focus more on keeping it in your mouth while face down rather than relaxing. Finish all gum and candy prior to your session. There are trash cans located in the building hallway as well as the Amethyst Rose Massage LLC studio for disposal of gum, candy and other trash.

Communication Is Key

In order for your practitioner to provide you with the best service it is imperative that you give accurate health information on all intake forms prior to all sessions. If you experience any of the following during your session inform your practitioner right away: any kind of discomfort or pain; if you are too warm or too cold; if you need to use the restroom, drink some water or need a tissue.

Stay Hydrated

Make sure to drink plenty of water before and after each session.

Rest

After your session, you might feel great; like you can do anything. However, Amethyst Rose Massage LLC suggests taking it easy for the remainder of the day. Try not to do anything strenuous or over exert yourself.
