Please email me at Samantha@AmethystRoseMassage.com or call/text me at (602) 318-7216 if you cannot find an answer to your question(s).
A “Book Now” button can be found on each page of the website. By clicking this button you will be taken to the practitioner's booking site. Select the service you wish to book. A calendar will appear automatically. Select the date, then the time. You will be taken to a screen where you will need to enter your contact information as well as your debit/credit card information. Check the authorize box, then click the “Reserve Appointment with Credit Card”.
If you have created an account through the booking site you may reschedule or cancel your appointment through your account. If you have not created an account through the booking site you may reschedule or cancel your appointment by contacting the practitioner directly through email or phone call/text. If you reschedule or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment you will still be required to pay for the full session you booked.
Please try your best to arrive a few minutes early for each appointment. If you do arrive late your appointment may be shortened in order to keep the practitioner on schedule for other clients. Full payment for your session will still be required.
There are a few times when you should not schedule an appointment or reschedule an already booked appointment. Some of these times are: if you are intoxicated, if you feel unwell; have a fever, cold, or the flu; have a medical or skin condition that is possibly contagious; are actively receiving chemotherapy or other intensive medical treatments; or have an injury. If you have any serious medical condition(s) or injury(s), speak with your primary care doctor or specialist first to see if you are clear to schedule an appointment with Amethyst Rose Massage LLC. If you do come in feeling unwell you may be turned away as you could potentially pass it on to your practitioner who may in turn pass it on to other clients. If your practitioner turns you away due to illness or injury you will still be required to pay for the full session you booked.
The payment options that I accept are cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, and Cash App.
Card numbers are kept on file for the sole purpose of reserving the date & time of your appointments and covering applicable charges for no-shows and cancellations.
Amethyst Rose Massage LLC is unable to accept any insurance.
Yes! You will receive the full time for the session you book unless you arrive late. The intake review and the time it takes you to undress will not cut into that time. Assessment times can vary, but they are usually around 3-10 minutes to ensure a safe, personalized session. This means your session will run a bit longer than just the time you booked. Please keep that in mind when scheduling other activities in your day. NOTE: If you are unable to fill out the intake forms online please arrive a few minutes earlier so you can fill out paper forms.
Masks will not be required. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask during your session you may. Your practitioner is willing to also wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable. Disposable masks will be available if you do not already have one. Please do not come in for your session if you are feeling unwell even if you plan on wearing a mask.
This is perfectly normal! Your practitioner will take it as a compliment that you are comfortable and relaxed.
Sometimes getting aroused or an erection happens during any therapeutic session. Touch administered to the body may activate the parasympathetic nervous system and cause arousal, or a partial or full erection. Your practitioner will understand this and ignore it. If your practitioner feels the session has turned sexual for you by the way of any sexual advances, innuendos, inappropriate self-touching, or maneuvering your body position in an attempt to get the practitioner to touch you inappropriately, your session will end immediately. You will be responsible for full payment of the session. As well, all appointments booked for future dates will be canceled and you will no longer be allowed to be a client of Amethyst Rose Massage LLC.
Some people enjoy talking during their sessions and some do not. Your practitioner will follow your lead as far as how much conversation there will be; though some think that allowing yourself to become completely quiet and focusing on your breath may help you relax into a deep state. If you experience any of the following during your session inform your practitioner right away: any kind of discomfort or pain; if you are too warm or too cold; if you need to use the restroom, drink some water or need a tissue.
Tipping is never a requirement, but if you enjoy your session and wish to express your gratitude a tip is always greatly appreciated! 20% or more of the original session price is suggested.
You will be asked to undress to your comfort level and to lay under the top sheet once the massage therapist steps out of the room. You may leave on whatever article(s) of clothing you would like. Most clients prefer to leave on their undergarments or be nude. The massage therapist understands that by leaving an article of clothing on, a client is establishing a boundary that will be respected. However, removing clothing ensures that the massage therapist is able to complete long-flowing strokes. If your problem areas are the low back, glutes, and/or hips it may be beneficial to remove your undergarments. If your problem areas are the back and shoulders it may be beneficial to remove your bra. You will remain modestly draped with the top sheet the entire massage. Genitals will never be exposed and only the specific areas being massaged will be uncovered. Modest draping is non-negotiable.
Massage can help reduce body pain, muscle soreness and stiffness, and joint inflammation. It can improve circulation, boost energy, and lower your heart rate and blood pressure. Massage helps to improve the immune system function, body flexibility, range of motion and helps to maintain good posture. As well, massage assists in workout, sports, surgery, and injury recovery. It is well known that massage therapy can reduce stress and tension, promote relaxation, improves mood, decreases anxiety and depression, and helps fight fatigue by improving quality of sleep.
Your massage therapist will welcome you into the studio. With you, the therapist will review the intake form you filled out online prior to your session. This includes discussing your medical history, history of injuries, lifestyle habits, and symptoms you are experiencing. This is your opportunity to communicate your needs and concerns as well as any specific area(s) you would like the massage therapist to focus on.
After the intake review your therapist will lower the lights to help bring about relaxation and calmness, and leave the room. Once the therapist has left the room you will undress to your comfort level (remove all jewelry and place it in the grey tray located on the side table) and lay under the top flat sheet and blanket. Your therapist will softly knock on the door to ask if you are ready for them to re-enter the room. Then your massage will begin.
A typical full-body massage generally consists of work on the back, shoulders, arms, hands, chest, neck, head, glutes, legs, and feet. A combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myotherapy, Energetic Myofascial, and other techniques may be used during your session. Halfway through your session, you will turn over. It is important that you speak up during the session about any pain or discomfort you are experiencing; if you are too warm or too cold; if you need to use the restroom, drink some water, or need a tissue.
To bring the session to an end your massage therapist will gently let you know your massage time is over, and leave the room. You will slowly sit up (do not try to stand right away as you may get dizzy). Once you feel you are ready to stand you will then get dressed and open the door to the studio (do not open the studio door unless fully dressed). Your therapist will be there with a small cup of water and enter the room. You will discuss with your therapist how you are feeling, and pay for your session. Your next massage therapy session can then be scheduled.
Along with those stated above in the "When Should I Avoid Getting a Session" section, those clients with any condition such as hydrocephalus, acute aneurysm, recent skull fracture, cerebral hemorrhage, or other severe bleeding disorder, in which slight variations in intracranial pressure would cause instability, should refrain from scheduling this type of appointment until cleared by your primary care physician or specialist.
You will stay fully clothed during your session so you should wear loose and comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. You will be asked to remove your shoes, jewelry, and anything on your head/in your hair.
Cranial sacral unwinding can help reduce body pain. It can assist with the restoration of balance and equilibrium, and encourages your own body’s healing mechanisms to operate more effectively. Cranial sacral unwinding can also help with enhancing cerebral spinal fluid flow and motility, as well as increasing vitality to the central nervous system and other body systems connected to it. It is well known that cranial sacral unwinding can reduce stress and tension, promotes deep feelings of relaxation, and improves your mood and quality of sleep. You may also experience the release of emotions and trauma trapped in the body.
Your practitioner will welcome you into the studio. With you, the practitioner will review the intake form you filled out online prior to your session. This includes discussing your medical history, history of injuries, lifestyle habits, and symptoms you are experiencing. This is your opportunity to communicate your needs and concerns. At this time, you will be asked to remove all jewelry and shoes.
After the intake review, your practitioner will lower the lights to help bring about relaxation and calmness while you lay down on top of the sheets in a relaxed position on your back. Your practitioner will start the session by quietly grounding themselves and setting a mutually agreed upon intention. The practitioner will then intuitively find the best doorway into your energetic field.
Once the doorway is found the practitioner will make light physical contact with you. You will be instructed that if anything (images, colors, feelings, emotions, words, etc.) comes up for you that you are welcome to share them out loud. Your practitioner will apply light pressure (around 5 grams) to select points on your ankles, knees, hips/pelvis/sacrum, ribs, shoulders, and head to evaluate your cranial sacral rhythms, tension patterns and imbalances. Your practitioner will then make gentle adjustments to your body based on what they feel at the selected points as well as your responses. They will hold space and safely support you while you are processing anything that arises. It is important that you speak up during the session about any pain or discomfort you are experiencing; if you are too warm or too cold; if you need to use the restroom, drink some water, or need a tissue.
You may have pleasant sensations throughout your body including warmth, tingling, muscle twitches, a "letting go" feeling, muscle relaxation, pressure release, and unwinding. Circumstances and emotions surrounding past trauma and/or injuries may be recalled as well.
To bring the session to an end your practitioner will bring balance to select points on your body and let you come back to reality. Once you are back to reality you will slowly sit up on the table; do not try to stand right away. You will discuss with your practitioner how you are feeling, anything that came up during the session you wish to speak about, and pay for your session. Your next cranial sacral unwinding session can then be scheduled.
It is absolutely normal. Not everyone feels something happening during their session. It can even differ from session to session. We trust that the body is getting what it needs out of the work.
Other than those stated above in the "When Should I Avoid Getting a Session" section, there are no other times when you should not receive a reiki session.
You will stay fully clothed during your session so you should wear loose and comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. You will be asked to remove your shoes, jewelry, and anything on your head/in your hair.
Reiki can help improve sleep, reduce stress, increase relaxation, enhance quality of life, decrease pain, lessen feelings of depression, relieve tension, diminish anxiety, boost mood, aid emotional healing, accelerate recovery from injuries, increase mental clarity, expand mindfulness, help spiritual growth, and mitigate fatigue.

After the intake review, your practitioner will lower the lights to help bring about relaxation and calmness while you lay down on top of the sheet in a relaxed position on your back. You will be instructed that if anything (images, colors, feelings, emotions, words, etc.) comes up for you that you are welcome to share them out loud. Your practitioner will gently place their hands, palms down, on or just above your body in specific energy locations. Symbols, drawn in the air or on your body by the practitioner’s fingers, may be used. These symbols are said to enhance the quality of the transmitted energy. They will hold space and safely support you while you are processing anything that arises. After the intake review, you will lie down on top of the sheets in a relaxed position on your back. The session will start with a foot assessment. Your reflexologist will do this by looking at the color, temperature, tone, and flexibility of your feet. Your reflexologist will then lower the lights to help bring about relaxation and calmness. You will receive a short massage on each foot to warm and loosen the tension in your feet and ankles and to encourage relaxation. Your reflexologist will then apply thumb and finger pressure to specific reflex points. Some reflex points might be tender or painful when stimulated which could indicate an imbalance or issue in the body.
To bring the session to an end your reflexologist will bring balance to select points on your body and let you come back to reality.
